Plans on the 4th of July?

29 June, 2009 (08:48) | Events | By: Paul Martin

July 4, 2009
4:00 pmto9:00 pm

Hey, if you haven’t made plans for the 4th yet, or even if you have already made plans but know they are lame…

The ALS Association (for Lou Gehrig’s disease) is in need of volunteers to help sell 50/50 raffle tickets for Lou Gehrig’s Day at Fifth Third ballpark on July 4th. Volunteers would need to arrive at the ballpark at 4pm. After the selling is done (6th inning), volunteers will be able to watch the game from the lawn or available bleachers seats FOR FREE. Please feel free to invite your friends and family to help out!

If you or anyone you know of is interested, please send a message or contact Marie at asap.

This would be such a great opportunity for the local ALS chapter, but it’ll only happen if we have enough people to sell tickets!

Welcome to the new Connect Website

12 June, 2009 (13:42) | Connect | By: Paul Martin

This website will be a much more functional, easier to use, website for all members of Connect.  The event calendar will be easier to use, and we’re making things simpler by taking away a lot of the functionality that nobody was using anyway.  Hopefully this becomes a much more usable website.  I’ve also moved all user’s accounts over to this system.  Hope you like it!
