AfterMass Records exists to produce diverse relevant music for the youth and young adults of the Church.

Aftermass Records strives to promote Catholic music that rocks. Focusing on quality, their passion for high-energy music with a purpose has been changing how people view Catholic music.

The music that you hear from AfterMass Records artists isn’t the cheesy, overproduced sound you’ve heard from Catholic youth music in years gone by.

We feel called to put out music that reflects both our faith and our taste in quality diverse music. While it isn’t specifically rock music, it is music that rocks. Hip hop, rock, alternative, electronic, funk, punk . . . it is all fair game here.

Pope John Paul the Great called the Church to support its youth and AfterMass Records is working to respond to that call.

The modern worship revolution is taking the Church by storm and taking people of all ages to new depths in their experience of God. Something wonderful happens when, from the heart, in a very simplistic and real way, we spend time worshipping our God. It is one of those things where words fail to convey the depth of the experience.
This is why the Pete Cornelius Band has partnered with Dr. David DenBraber to form One Desire Ministries. It is our desire that after whatever event we are involved in, whether a youth rally, Mass, Eucharistic adoration, or a night of worship, that people would leave challenged and changed by the experience. We do this through the combination of two avenues. The first being music (worship), which is an extremely important and powerful part of our culture. The second is through preaching. One Desire Ministries believes that we have something unique to offer the Catholic Church, and the Christian Church on a whole, that captures and provides an outlet for the yearning for God found in the depths of every heart.

Catholic Music Network.com was established in September of 2000 by a group of Catholics who saw a need for an online source to carry Catholic music.

This group of musicians, radio and television professionals, web developers and homeschoolers had a hard time trying to find a place on the Internet that would carry various Catholic artists let alone make sure it followed the teachings of the Catholic Church. After prayerful thought, Catholic Music Network.com was established and dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Catholic Music Network.com‘s goal is to be the premier source for Catholic music on the Internet.

The Reason For Our Hope Foundation was founded by Fr. Larry Richards in answer to 1 Peter 3:15: "Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope." Catholic Answers Action is a new political and cultural action organization that is legally distinct from Catholic Answers. It has been created by separating out of Catholic Answers those activities which involve teaching Catholic principles as they apply to politics. It will provide a platform for informing, inspiring and rallying those who care deeply about our Catholic faith to greater involvement in the moral, cultural and political issues that threaten our nation.

Like a Phoenix rising from ashes, Cheer up Charlie has arrived bringing a timeless message of love through the medium of music. Comprised mostly by members of the CHR hit-making group Scarecrow and Tinmen, Cheer up Charlie has a proven track record of top 10 hits, sold out shows, and changed lives world-wide.

With an engaging, catchy, and forward thinking ROCK / CHR sound, Cheer up Charlie’s music has been compared to groups like Switchfoot, DC Talk, Smash Mouth, Chevelle, and the Newsboys. “We really try to make music that has a purpose greater than being just another great song” says Bradley DeRosia of Cheer up Charlie. “Our objective is to use the gifts and talents that we have been given to effectively communicate the message of the Gospel in an effort to make positive, lasting changes in the lives of today’s, youth and young adults.” Brad adds. Cheer up Charlie’s previous life as Scarecrow and Tinmen has given them a coffer of experiences that most groups can only imagine. Playing shows all over the globe for over 7 years in full time Ministry, they have played several “World Youth Day” events each with over 600,000 in attendance. Of those events the favorite of the band was “World Youth Day” in Rome Italy 2000, in which over 3,000,000 were in attendance, as well as the privilege of playing for the Pope John Paul II. Other achievements include many returning visits to Atlanta Fest, Cornerstone(s), Sonshine Fest, NCYC(s), Acquire the Fire(s), and Rock the Universe just to mention a few. The guys have also played and toured with many popular bands ranging from Skillet, to Newsong; the Supertones to Steven Curtis Chapman, and many others. Additionally, they have toured and play over 550 shows, rallies, retreats and festivals in the last 8 years.
